Summer's coming. Got to get into "beach shape!" There are now drugs that can allow someone to lose big weight very quickly -- Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound. Unfortunately, when you lose alot of weight, you don't just lose fat. With Ozempic, for example, as much as 30% of the weight loss could be muscle (Mounjaro tends to be a bit less). When you get older, you need muscles -- frailty in the elderly is tied directly to muscle mass. 

This can be avoided, but it requires attention -- you've got to do weight bearing exercise along with the weight loss to be able to preserve that critical muscle.
